Guest sentiment
A snapshot of what local diners frequently mention about this location.
"Unique and interesting way to serve your food, and the food itself quite good. My favorites is salmon with garlic sauce and scallop with spicy mayo. Reasonable price for taste and quality"
"The place is quite nice you can access it from the sogo lobby or from inside the mall it self. The food is good and the service is nice a lot of kids friendly menus, if you want to bring kids please do mind that this place have a track and it’s quite fast"
"The place has a cozy vibe. The staff is super friendly and attentive, making the dining experience even more enjoyable."
"Fun Concept, But the Sushi Was Just So-So I recently visited Genki Sushi Pakuwon, a train-style sushi restaurant, excited to try the conveyor belt concept. The experience was definitely fun and unique, but when it came to the actual taste of the sushi, it left me wanting more. Sushi Quality: The variety of sushi on the conveyor belt by the train was impressive, with plenty of options to choose from the menu and then come automatically. However, the taste was pretty average. The fish was fresh enough, but the flavors didn’t really stand out. The nigiri lacked that melt-in-your-mouth quality you expect from good sushi. Specialty Rolls: I tried a few of their specialty rolls, and while they were visually appealing, they were just okay in terms of flavor. The ingredients didn’t seem to blend as well as they could have, and the sauces overpowered the more delicate flavors of the fish. Service: The service was efficient and friendly. The staff were quick to clear plates and assist with any special orders from the menu. They were also happy to explain how the train system worked, which was helpful for first-timers like myself. While the sushi didn’t impress me, the overall experience was pleasant because of the attentive staff. Atmosphere: The atmosphere was casual and fun, with the train of sushi running through the restaurant. It’s a great casual meal or to enjoy with friends, especially if you’re looking for something interactive and different. The place was clean and well-maintained, and it had a lively energy that made the experience enjoyable, even if the food wasn’t exceptional. Final Thoughts: While the concept of a train-style sushi restaurant is a lot of fun and the variety is great, the quality and taste of the sushi were just so-so. If you’re looking for a quick and novel dining experience, it’s worth a visit."
"Good service, good food, good view to outside, variety of Japanese cuisine to choose, cute train that delivers your food gimmick"
"Genki sushi is usually located inside sogo. They have a unique concept, a train will deliver the menu that you order from an ipad. Genki sushi is more expensive than sushi tei, however genki sushi has a high quality sushi. The sashimi such as salmon belly is so good here, it is fresh and they cut it thicker than sushi tei. You also have to try their menu with spicy mayo. The rice bowl here is good. As for the drinks you will have to pay for ocha here unlike sushitei. You can pay using your MAP voucher or club points here. Prepare about 200k/person if you want to eat at here"
"fun and relaxing environment for my kids. my children loves the food . and how it was delivered . will recommend again. 10/10"
"The food is really amazing and also Delicious! Tastes like authentic Japanese food! My favorite Restaurant!"
